AFGL Tour Ranking
Road to Acapulco Events
Your eligibility for ranking-based spots depends on AFGL-sanctioned tournaments held between July and November 2025, including:
Great Lakes Open 250
(Midwest – Completed)
U.S. Open 1000
(October 9–12, East Coast)
Desert Storm
(November 21–23, West Coast)
Top two AFGL-100
Events held anywhere in the U.S.
Players who qualify via FIFG Regional or World Rankings will be removed from AFGL Tour Ranking eligibility. Final rankings and confirmed bonus spots will be published after October 1, 2025, based on FIFG’s official country allocation.

Participation & Invitation

Registration and participation in AFGL Tour qualification events and the FIFG World Cup is voluntary.
If a qualifying player declines the invitation to participate, the next ranked player in that category will be offered the invitation.
National Team Allocations
As FIFG expands to over 60 member nations, the team format for Acapulco 2026 is as follows:
24 Men’s National Teams
24 Senior Men’s National Teams
16 Women’s National Teams
North America has 3 regional spots for the Men and Senior Men categories and 2 spots for the Women category. As the host country, Mexico automatically qualifies in all Team categories, leaving 2 contested spots for Canada, Honduras, and the United States in the Men/Senior Men categories and 1 in the Women category. AFGL team captains will announce rosters for the North American Team Qualifiers in Los Cabos, Mexico next month (August 2025). Once finalized, AFGF will share rules and team details via the BlueGolf System.
